Florian White is a PhD candidate (ABD) in German Studies and a teaching assistant at the University of Connecticut. His dissertation project, “The Berlin Nightclub as Space in Contemporary German Literature,” deals with the representation of Berlin nightclubs in German-language literature from 1990 to 2000.
