Jorge Contesse is an associate professor and founding director of the Center for Transnational Law at Rutgers Law School (United States) and visiting professor at Diego Portales University (Chile). He specializes in international human rights law, constitutional law and legal theory, and has advised international human rights organizations and appeared before international human rights bodies and tribunals. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Diego Portales University, as well as a Master and Doctorate in Law from Yale University.
