Dr. Margot Salomon is Director of the Laboratory for Advanced Research on the Global Economy at the LSE’s Centre for the Study of Human Rights and is Associate Professor in the Law Department. She has been a consultant to the World Bank, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and Advisor to the UN High-level Task Force on the Right to Development from 2004-2009. She was a member of the International Law Association’s Committee on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples from 2007-2011 and is currently Vice-Chair of the Association of Human Rights Institutes. Dr Salomon has published widely on international (human rights) law and world poverty, development and issues of global economic justice.
