Dr. Sandra Sirota is the director of Human Rights Close to Home and an assistant professor in residence of Human Rights and Experiential Global Learning at the University of Connecticut. She has consulted for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, run a human rights education organization—the Advocacy Lab—in New York City, and been involved with numerous other local and international human rights and education organizations.
